A short distance from the town of Umbertide, this beautiful stone and brick farmhouse. It was completely renovated in 2012 mantaining all the characteristic elements such as ceilings with wooden beams and terracotta tiles, exposed stone walls, vaulted ceilings and magnificent terracotta floors all hand made and in different shapes, stone floors and with particular attention made to details such as the recovery of the old doors, the connecting staircase between the two floors or the grand stone fireplace.
It is trully a magnificent house, currently divided into two separate apartments with the possibility of using the two as one large space if needed because of the interesting staircase which can be opened or closed to suit.
- On the ground floor there is a large living room characterized by vaulted ceilings and beautiful stone floors, a kitchen with access to the outside portico, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
- Upstairs there is a another large living room with a splendid stone fireplace, large kitchen, three bedrooms and two incredible bathrooms.
The building was completelty renovated following anti-seismic regulations and with the introduction of high standards materials and comforts without damaging the history of the building. The roof is insulated, and the heating system is aimed at energy saving with heating supplied from a pellet boiler.
The surrounding land is suitable for a swimming pool, equipped with an illumination system and a well for water supply.
Also part of the property is an annex of about 120 square meters completely to be restored and convertible into additional living space.
The only minus, in my opinion is the proximity to the road, which is also a plus as you can reach the town of Umbertide in just 5 minutes by car.
